Davis * Cropped Dead From Paralysis of the Heart *  Yesterday Near Lebanon * Visiting at Home of His Sister Mrs. Killis Quisenberry When Sudden Demise Came. * Saturday’s Daily * Sam R. Davis, a prominent and wealthy citizen of Rector, Denton county, fell dead from paralysis of the heart at 8:30 o’clock yesterday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Killis Quisenberry, eleven miles west of McKinney. He had ridden over from home horseback to visit his sister and was sitting by the fire smoking and conversing with his nephew, Will Quisenberry, when the fatal attack came and he fell to the floor dead. The deceased was an extensive farmer, land owner, stockman and vice president of the First National Bank of Denton. * A wife, one daughter and four sons survive. Also two sisters, Mrs. Quisenberrry of this county and Mrs. Elizabeth Woodrum of Lewisville, Denton county, survive. * The deceased was a prominent Odd Fellow and his burial will take place under the auspices of that order at Bethel graveyard in West Collin. One of his sons is in New York and the burial may not take place until Tuesday in order that he may reach home in time to attend.
