A baby boy was born to Mr & Mrs John Hawkins of Simpson, Nov 18th at the home of Frank White. 1910 census shows John and Mary and son Clifton

Albert E Adams and Anna A Craig of Ada were married Tuesday.

Thomas E Truex, Feb 20 1839- Nov 12 1907, funeral services were held at ME church with pastor of the Presbyterian church assisting.

Clarence Rice celebrated a birthday, also Mrs Harold Hollis and W B Skinner. 

Inez Hughes and Tom Estabrook were married Tuesday evening. Mrs Irl Hogg is the sister of the groom.

Mr & Mrs J P Morrison are the parents of a 9 pound girl, Marilym Marie, born Monday.

Mr & Mrs Floyd Black of Minneapolis have a son born Monday. Mrs Black was Maye Reynolds of Delphos.

Marriage of interest to Delphos people occurred this morning at Russell, KS when Earl Chancy, married Susie Klein.

The will of R A Quinn who died in Sept 1928 was admitted to probate court.

Whos Who in DHS. Gale Garrison received his grade school education in Dist 79. While in high school he had two years of track, two of basketball, three of glee club and one year of band. He has been a 4h-er 4 years holding office all 4 years.

Funeral services were held at Bethel for Geo. Casselman of Okla. He was a former resident.

WB Skinner was 92 Monday.

Grindle Dinner House, a fine dining establishment, will close soon due to the death of Mr Grindle a few months ago. Mrs Grindle and her sister Rosie Teasley have tried to carry on but find it too much.

Photo of Mr & Mrs Otis Courtney (Lydia Stanley) of Emporia on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. They are both native to Delphos and lived here until 1926.

Ernest Beers, formerly a rural mail carrier in Glasco, passed away in Loveland CO Oct 31st.

Mrs Herman Bates is keeping busy selling Tupperware.

Carl Predmore, Concordia, died Sunday. His brother Orlin lives in Delphos.

Lions Club members attended Ladies night. Wilson Davis, president, was master of ceremonies. Howard and Marjorie Cain led singing. Maria Campbell and Larry Geist played a trumpet duet.

Bandstand restoration fund has reached $838.

Delbert Cleo Liby, Miltonvale died Nov 13.

Robin Alderson was named Good Samaritan employee of the month. Dhe and Dennis reside in Delphos.

58 people attended the Pounds Thanksgiving dinner at the auditorium.

Jim and Lois Shirley celebrated their Nov 18th wedding anniversary.

Clarence Rice had a birthday Nov 20th.

Kenneth Douglas passed, Bob and Kennie Smith thanked the community.
