Yesterdays football game ended 0-0. Lindsey had to leave the field to catch their train.

Ray E Barnum and Golda M Burger were married at Randall, KS Nov 21st. They will live at Driftwood, Okla.

The city well in the park is a good one. It is 116 feet deep and has 90 feet of good water in it. A tower and tank will be installed so water can be pumped to the four corners of the square.

The marshall should look over the ordinances to find one which applying to playing football on the streets around the square. It frightens the horses.

The Delphos Community Chamber of Commerce will be leading several events starting with 2 free talking picture shows at the Auditorium, Benefit Dance sponsored by the firemen and bridge party sponsored by town ladies at the Auditorium, then a Benefit show, and a Christmas program. It will take about 30 baskets this year to help those less fortunate.

Mr & Mrs Ray Somers have a daughter born Nov 27th.

Mrs McDonald will do general housework for $3 a week.

Albert Pilcher was killed by his father in law, John Brinkman. John, 74, killed Bert, 37, without warning of any kind. They all lived together in Abilene. Bert was a mail carrier out of Delphos but they moved six years ago. He leaves his wife, Inez and 4 children.

Rev Morton Miller, 69, Lamar, died.

There were 3 fire calls over the weekend. The Turrentine home, J F Chroniger home, and the Frank Cline home.

Milk delivery will be 7 cents per quart. Delivery men are WB Skinner, A F Vossman, Paul Wilkins, NP Balance.

Whos Who in DHS. Elaine Brown, started school at Washington, then to Effingham, then high school at Argentine High school, in Kansas City. She has attended Delphos for three years. She is in glee club, orchestra and band and has held class offices.

Bobby Arheart celebrated his 9th birthday.

Mr & Mrs Alfred Tasker spent two weeks in the Eastern and Southern sections of the US. Helen sent a complete report. 

Sister Mary Dionysia Winkler, Concordia, passed away Tuesday.

Explorer Scouts are now organized. Leaders are Bob McKain, Max Rolph and Dale Haley. Post committee is Drr MP Ballard, Harry Parrish and Clifford Chancy. Harry William and Carol Britt announce the birth od a son, Terrance, Nov 21st.

Rod Ponton bagged a 8 pointer.

Delphos Womens club quilt is ready. Carla Aldridge celebrated her 21st birthday Nov 22nd. Guests were the Wilsons, McKains and Rolphs.

Jennifer Thurston was 9 on Nov 28th.

Tom Meredith, Marvin Smith and Rob Stegmeier put up Christmas decorations.

Lillian Comfort celebrated her birthday which will be Dec 3rd.
