Bill & Jim were adopted by Mr & Mrs Ernest Otte when Bill was 18 months old and Jim was 3 months. Recently they learned where any of the family was and a sister came to see them graduate from Delphos High School.

A Public sale will be held of the house and contents at the home of Mrs Almeda VanHorn, 2 blocks west and one half block north of the city auditorium.

Cliff Hawkins and Charlie Klein are owners of the building formerly owned by Lyda Slater, which is south of Ponton Locker, and will use it for storage of their plumbing and electrical equipment.

Ethel Thurston is a new resident of the Delphos Rest Home.

Mr & Mrs Duane Willmarth are the parents of a son, Morris Woodrow, born Saturday May 20th at Salina. He weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces.

Two day old son of Mr & Mrs Arnold Hurtig, Brett Barton, passed away. Services were conducted at Delphos Cemetery May 24th.

Among those receiving a Master of Science degree at Kansas State University is Kenneth King Gowdy, son of Mr & Mrs Ed Pilcher and son-in-law of Mr & Mrs Alfred Hurtig. He married Delores Hurtig.

A survey to determine whether Delphos will have a mausoleum has been completed and construction will start as soon as arrangements are completed and the weather permits. Mrs Jilka assisted Mr Otha Aishman with the survey.

Harry Catlin, Meredith, had surgery last week, but passed away Saturday May 19th.

Word was received of the death of Frank Chartier, brother of Mrs Clarence Cole, and Mrs Bert Barber.

Mr & Mrs Martin Hart announce the birth of Charlene Elaine, May 18th. She has two sisters.
