The marriage of George Donald
Billings and Miss Ruth Swanson took place Saturday evening at the Episcopal

fair was finished at the meeting.

They tied a comforter for the hostess.

of the class of 1927 and is living east of Delphos; Esther Pilcher

Judy Clark, the 5 year old
daughter of Mr & Mrs
Bill Clark, is probably one of the youngest hair stylists on record. She gave
her little sister Jana a short, short haircut.
Pearl Chancy is another
resident adding to the appearance of our city with improvements to his
property. He has added siding to the house and is in the process of adding some
to his shop which is on the south side of the square. A number of buildings
need a face lifting.
The PTA program included Mrs Frank White giving devotions; a piano solo by Pamela Paramore; an accordion solo by Dana Ray Hauck; and a piano
solo by Lavonna Krone.
Ed Riley, died Saturday
evening in his home in Delphos. He was 73. He operated a grocery store in
Delphos for a few years, selling it in 1955.
The Jolly Circle Club met
with Erva Kleiner . Present
were Vi Larson, Neva Keener, Eva Davis, Colene Halderson,
Grace Rice, Berneice Rice, Charlotte Keener, Meryle Willars, and Ollie
Righter.
Mr & Mrs Grant Kiser and
Bob, Mr & Mrs Vern
Carver, and Mr & Mrs Irl Eppler, spent Sunday with Mr & Mrs Ed Kiser, helping
him celebrate his birthday. In the afternoon the group enjoyed slides sent home
by Pfc Eddie Kiser.
