Journal Entry 2 - July 2004

The knitting on my second shawl has been completed and GM has done the fringe.

The shawl is done and blessed and has been given to someone.

We don't have a name, as the person who received it came to it under the Stephan Ministry guidelines, but we can pray for her or him.

I used Homespun yarn again as requested but the color pattern was Tudor this time.

The stripe pattern was very interesting - mostly lavender, blue, and gold with one stripe in a light orange right in the middle. 

The Lionbrand website said it was: Soft shades of tan, cream and old rose with hints of purple and blue. 

It has been interesting to see that each shawl is unique with all the different variations in color, knitting or crocheting and fringe work -  Just like all the ladies in our group.
